Slow Cooker Pork Chops with Gravy
Ingredients:
4 bone-in pork chops
1 envelope onion soup mix
1 (14oz) can of low sodium chicken broth
1 (10.5oz) low sodium cream of chicken soup
1 envelope dry pork gravy mix
1 tsp. garlic powder
Directions:
In a 5-6 quart slow cooker, whisk the onion soup mix, chicken broth, cream of chicken and gravy mix together
Season both sides of pork chops with garlic powder.
Place pork chops in the slow cooker, covering with the gravy mixture.
Cook on low for 6-8 hours and enjoy!

"Fried" Ice Cream Cake
Ingredients:
1/2 C butter
1 C sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 cups crushed cornflakes
1 1.75 quart tub of vanilla ice cream
1 (8 oz) tub of Cool Whip, thawed
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
honey for drizzling
Instructions:
Set ice cream out on counter to soften for about 30 min
Melt butter in a large skillet on med heat Add sugar and salt.
Stir until the mixture melts and starts to bubble.
Add the cornflakes and stir for about 5 min until they begin to caramelize (Remember that sugar burns easily so watch carefully!)
Add about 1/2 of the cornflake mixture to a 9x13 pan and press down with your fingertips. Add as much as you need a little at a time to evenly cover the entire bottom of the pan.
Let cool to room temperature.
In a bowl mix softened ice cream, Cool Whip and cinnamon until everything is blended together.
Spread ice cream mixture over the corn flakes in the pan and top with remaining cornflakes.
Cover and freeze for about 4 hours before serving.
Drizzle cut pieces with honey and enjoy!
Pull Apart Pizza Bread
Ingredients:
1 (12 oz) tube of refrigerated biscuits
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1/4 shredded pizza blend cheese
1/4 C parmesan cheese
1 tsp. italian seasoning
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
pizza sauce for dipping
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
Cut each biscuit into quarters and place in a bowl.
Toss biscuits in olive oil.
In a separate bowl, mix remaining ingredients (except sauce)
Add biscuits and toss to coat.
Spray a bundt pan with non stick spray and add biscuit mixture. (I didn't have a bundt pan so I just placed a ramekin in the middle of a round 2 1/2 quart baking dish)
Bake for 15 min or until golden brown.
Run a knife alone the sides of the bread and turn bread out of the pan while its still warm.
Use the sauce as a dip and enjoy!

"Magic" Custard Cake
Ingredients:
4 eggs (whites separated from yolks), room temp
1 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup sugar
1 stick butter, melted
3/4 cup all purpose flour
2 cups milk lukewarm
powdered sugar for dusting cake
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 325 F degrees. Grease and Line 8 inch x 8 inch baking dish with parchment. Separate eggs and add the egg whites to a mixer and beat egg whites stiff. Place egg whites in a bowl and set aside. Beat the egg yolks & sugar until light. Add butter and vanilla. Beat for two mins. Add the flour and mix it in until fully incorporated. Slowly start adding the milk and beat until everything is well mixed together. Add the egg whites, a third at a time and gently fold them in using a spatula, repeat until all egg whites are folded in. Pour batter into baking dish and bake for approx 50 to 60 minutes or until the top is lightly golden. Cool and dust heavily with powdered sugar.
Grilled Peanut Chicken
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons peanut butter
1 Tablespoon fresh lime juice
2 teaspoons soy sauce
1/3 teaspoon curry powder
dash of cayenne
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut in half lengthwise
Directions:
- Preheat grill for high heat.
- In a bowl, mix the peanut butter, lime juice, soy sauce, garlic, curry powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Lightly oil the grill grate. Place chicken on grate, and brush with 1/2 the sauce. Grill 6 to 8 minutes. Turn chicken, and brush with remaining sauce. Continue grilling 6 to 8 minutes, until chicken juices run clear.
Pork, Potatoes and Green Bean One Pan Wonder
Ingredients:
One lb. chopped pork
One can green beans (drained) or about 12 oz of fresh green beans, rinsed
About 4 red potatoes, cubed
One envelope of dry vegetable soup mix (I used Lipton)
1/4 to 1/2 cup butter, cut up (depends on how bad you want to be!)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Layer the pork, green beans, and potatoes as shown in picture.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle vegetable soup packet evenly over the whole pan.
Drop the cut up butter as evenly as possible over the pork, beans and potatoes.
Bake for one hour and enjoy!!
